Terms and Conditions – ILT Interlaboratory Test

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the website of ILT – Interlaboratory Test (hereinafter, “ILT”), as well as by registering for any of our proficiency testing or interlaboratory comparison programs, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Purpose of the website and programs
ILT provides proficiency testing (PT) programs and interlaboratory comparisons, as well as related services for testing and calibration laboratories.
The website aims to provide institutional information, access to available programs, and facilitate registration and communication with participants.

3. Registration and participation in programs

  • Registration for a program implies acceptance of the specific conditions of that program (schedule, samples, technical requirements, and shipping deadlines).
  • Each participating laboratory is responsible for ensuring that the personnel performing the tests have the appropriate training, equipment, and facilities.
  • Failure to comply with deadlines or procedures may affect the validity of participation and results.

4. Confidentiality

  • The individual results of each laboratory are treated confidentially.
  • ILT only publishes global results, averages, or statistics, without identifying participating laboratories, unless expressly authorized.
  • Participant information will not be shared with third parties, except when legally required or requested by accreditation bodies.

5. Reports and use of results

  • Reports issued by ILT are solely for technical, quality control, and accreditation purposes.
  • They do not constitute calibration, testing, or accreditation certificates.
  • ILT is not responsible for decisions made by laboratories or third parties based on these reports.

6. Intellectual property
All website content, reports, logos, texts, and images are the property of ILT, unless otherwise indicated. Reproduction in whole or in part without prior written authorization is prohibited.

7. User responsibilities
The participant agrees to:

  • Provide truthful and updated data upon registration.
  • Handle and test samples according to the provided instructions.
  • Not use the results in a misleading manner or outside the technical scope of the programs.

8. Limitation of liability
ILT will not be liable for:

  • Direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the website or participation in the programs.
  • Delays or failures in sample delivery caused by shipping companies or force majeure.
  • Errors or omissions made by the participating laboratory when analyzing the samples.

9. Commercial conditions

  • Participation costs and payment methods are informed at the time of registration.
  • No refunds will be made once the test material has been shipped.
  • In case of cancellation before the shipment of samples, ILT may withhold a percentage as administrative costs.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute arising in connection with them shall be submitted to the ordinary courts with jurisdiction in the City of Buenos Aires.
